They will be competing this coming weekend in Newark Valley at the IAC Championships.

Four Watkins Glen high school students have recently submitted works of art to the Scholastic Art Awards and received recognition.

Naja Radoja Two Honorable Mentions in Ceramics "Moonlight" & "Bug Coaster"
Honorable Mentions are automatic awards when art is juried and gets in.

Get Ready Watkins Glen & Odessa Montour students, Clay Target Shooting spring sports sign-ups are heading your way!
If you are in 7th-12th grade online registrations to get registered through USA Clay Target Shoot will open up February 4th https://www.claytargetscoring.com/ams/
Registration will close on March 24th with no more entrant acceptances. There is a fee of $50 per athlete when registering
Students will need to supply their own shot gun
Students will also need to have a current "Hunter Safety Course" completed to register
Hunter safety courses are available in person or online www.hunter-ed.com/new-york
We will be hosting a parent informational evening at the Watkins Glen High School Cafeteria on Wednesday, February 12th from 6-7pm all families are welcome to come.
The last step will be to sign-up for the sport for school purposes through Final Forms beginning on February 10th

Last evening, the Schuyler Storm Varsity Boys Swim & Diving team celebrated their Class of 2025 Senior, Liam Smith!
The Storm swimming & diving team had a knockout win against Lansing last evening to top off Liam's celebration. 113-71 final score. Liam helped grab 1st place finishes with his Relay teams in the 200 Medley Relay & 200 Free Relay.

We are excited to announce that our school will be participating in the Great Kindness Challenge from Monday, January 27th to Friday, January 31st. This week-long event aims to inspire students and staff to spread kindness and positivity throughout our school community.
We invite everyone to get involved by practicing small acts of kindness each day and celebrating the positive impact we can have on one another. Let's make this week a memorable one filled with compassion, joy, and a sense of community.
We will end with Friday, January 31st with a fun day of showing kindness by wearing athletic clothing with the theme being "Kindness Moves"!
