Olivia recorded a game-high 16 points and 16 rebounds in a 54-25 win over Lansing in the IAC Large School Championship to help the Lake Hawks repeat as IAC champions. She also recorded six points and a team-high 10 rebounds in a 31-28 win over Newark Valley in the IAC South Large Division tiebreaker"

Why Olivia was nominated:
Olivia King delivered an outstanding performance in the IAC Large School championship game, scoring 16 points, grabbing 16 rebounds, and adding two blocks and two assists in a 54–25 win over Lansing. Earlier in the week, she pulled down 10 rebounds in the division tiebreaker win against Newark Valley. Her hard work and impact on the court earned her this well‑deserved nomination!

🎉 Congratulations to WG Lake Hawks Indoor Track Racewalker, Senior Madison Tuttle! 🎉
Madison has officially punched her ticket to the State Championships in March at the upcoming Staten Island State Competition!
She earned her spot by placing 2nd in the 1500m Racewalk this evening at the Ithaca Events Center, host of the State Qualifier meet.

🎉 Congratulations to the Storm's Varsity Odessa‑Montour Wrestlers! 🎉
A huge shoutout to Lucas Hoffman, who captured the Section IV Championship title in the 118 lb weight class!
With this victory, Hoffman has officially punched his ticket to the NY State Championships in Albany on February 27–28.
Joining him at States is teammate Jared Watson, who earned an impressive 3rd-place finish in the 165 lb weight class.
Way to go, Storm wrestlers! Your hard work, determination, and grit continue to make your school and community proud. 💪🤼♂️🔥

Watkins Glen Central School District is proud to announce that Senior and Storm Varsity Swimmer, Vinnie Ocasio, has been selected as this week’s Athlete of the Week.
Vinnie earned this recognition following an exceptional week of competition at the IAC Championship, Sectional Prelims, and Sectional Finals, where he showcased both outstanding individual performance and strong contributions to his relay teams.
This past week, Vinnie achieved:
1st Place – 100 Freestyle
1st Place – 50 Freestyle
Key 1st Place relay victories with his teammates in the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Freestyle Relay
Vinnie’s success highlights not only his personal dedication and competitive excellence but also the tremendous effort displayed by the entire STORM Men’s Swim Team. The program celebrated numerous top‑8 finishes at Saturday’s Sectional Finals, with the majority of swimmers advancing from Wednesday’s Sectional Prelims. Their collective performance reflects the depth of talent and hard work across the team.
