WGHS Juniors will be taking the ASVAB on Wednesday, January 31st.
The ASVAB measures aptitude and acquired skills which can be used to help predict future academic and occupational success. ASVAB scores give students insight into their options and aid them in planning their next step after high school.
Tonight, the high school pool is open for Community Swim from 6-7 pm.
Locker rooms will also be available, entry through the Field House doors.
Due to today's inclement weather, our letter rotation schedule has changed. Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 24th will be a "B" day.

It's Game Day!
Tonight's the JV & Varsity Boys & Girls Basketball teams will be taking on Whitney Point.
The Gentlemen Lake Hawks will have the home advantage this evening tip-off is at 6:30 PM, while the Lady Lake Hawks go on the road, game time at 5:30 PM.

The National Honor Society will be hosting the WGHS Formal Dress Charity Ball at Seneca Lodge February 10th for all WGHS 9th through 12th graders! Please see the flyer and find below the Watkins Glen Parent Permission Form if your student intends to attend with a guest. No guests will be permitted without the form completely signed by parents/guardians, students, guests and administration. Also, read all restrictions and expectations on the form if you student is planning on attending the Charity Ball.

WGES will be participating in the Great Kindness Challenge next week. The Great Kindness Challenge is a proactive and positive bullying prevention initiative that improves school climate and increases student engagement. GKC is one week that is devoted to performing as many acts of kindness as possible on our campus. Please check out the spirit days planned.
WGES is #WGProud of our partnership with Schuyler County Sheriff's Department in bringing The NYSSA Operation SAFE CHILD Program to our families. The program provides a child identification card that, in the unlikely event of an emergency, can assist law enforcement agencies with critical information. The District's Food Service Department will be bringing a NYS farm fresh menu to our students on January 11th. In support of the Farm to School program, locally grown food will be hitting the trays today! Lunches will be made with NY products such as ground beef for homemade chili, juice & milk, seasoned potatoes, apple sauce & Cornbread.
