For over two decades, the 200 Medley Relay record at Watkins Glen High School stood strong at 1:44.76, set back in 2000 by an incredible group of student athletes. Their legacy has been a benchmark for generations of swimmers. 🌊
Tonight, at the Section IV Class C Prelims, history was rewritten! 🚀💥 The new school record is 1:44.38—a testament to the dedication, teamwork, and relentless pursuit of excellence by our student-athletes.

We are excited to announce that WGES will be participating in the Great Kindness Challenge from Monday, January 27th to Friday, January 31st. This week-long event aims to inspire students and staff to spread kindness and positivity throughout our school community. To celebrate the conclusion of this special week, we will be having a Spirit Day on Friday, January 31st, with the theme: Kindness Moves! On this day, both students and staff are encouraged to wear athletic wear to show their commitment to moving kindness forward—physically and emotionally.
This event is sponsored by the WG PTO

Pre-registration tickets :$15 per family (Includes 1 adult plus children)
$5 per extra adult attending

Saturday Morning Basketball with Coach Jimmy Scott and the high school crew, will be playing their games tomorrow in the Modified Gym.

Parents, please use the high school far Northeast parking lot off of 12th street out back of school by the outdoor track and use HS 10 entrance to get into school
The Storm Varsity Wrestling Team will be hosting a 12 school IAC Championship event tomorrow and will be accessing through the Field house.
