Wednesday evening the Watkins Glen High School 9-12th grades put on a wonderful Winter Concert. Showcasing the musical talents of Watkins Glen high school students orchestrated by their Band & Chorus teachers, Kathleen O'Connor & Kelsey Pinette. The Fine Arts program also showcased student artwork in the Auditorium Lobby for all to see, put on by the high school Art teachers, Dawn Coleman & Maggie Hackett. On Friday 12.15.23, the WG Lake Hawk boys basketball program will take on the Cardinals of Newark Valley. We ask that all those in attendance wear red in solidarity and support of the Waverly School Community as they experience terrible loss and tragedy. All donations collected at the door will be dispersed to the impacted families. The Personal Hygiene Drive will be held during evening school sporting events & throughout the school day (for students) to help those in need this winter season with supplies.
Bins are placed in the Field House Foyer and also in Mrs. Popovich's classroom (for students during school hours).
Accepting Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, toiletries and more...
This will help benefit our local Catholic Charities of Schuyler County and will run until December 11th.
Friday evening from 6-8pm the 7th & 8th graders dance is in the High School Main Office Lobby . Ugly sweater contest, holiday cookie decorating with Mrs. Couch and friends, support from the student's admission fee, goes back to the Yearbook club funds! Come join the fun!

The WGHS Ski & Snowboard Club will be kicking off their season starting January 3rd.

Congratulations to Junior Nicholas Brusso, who represented Watkins Glen in the Zone 15 Area All-State Mixed Chorus this past weekend! Students representing 33 districts from 7 different counties in the Southern Tier participated in the Chorus and other ensembles. Nick was selected from a pool of over 300 vocal students in grades 10-12 who participated in last spring’s NYSSMA Solo Festival. Congratulations, Nick! We are #WGProud!
