GREAT way to open the fall season!! Girls soccer SOAR to victory in their home and season opener with a 6-0 shut out!! #SOARLakeHawks #WGProud

The Storm Girls Varsity Swimming & Diving Team spent the last three days team building and goal setting in the Adirondack Park. Their trip included a stay at Camp Huntington located on Raquette Lakes off Long Point Road. The great Adirondack camp was built in the 1870s and is currently owned by SUNY Cortland. In 2004, it was named a National Historic Landmark.
During their time away, the girls were able to participate in adventure based learning including a low/high ropes challenge course, canoeing, and trust activities. They returned to Schuyler County with a renewed focus and are excited for the start of interscholastic competition.

Coach Holland and the Varsity Football Team would like to invite the Schuyler County school community out to Alumni Field as the team rekindles its rivalry with the Eagles of SVEC! Kick off is at 7PM on 9/2/23. #SchuylerStrong #LetItStorm #WGProud

A #WGProud Shout Out to (soon to be Sophomore) Madison Tuttle! She recently competed in the U20 Women's 10K racewalk at Hayward Field in Eugene Oregon this past weekend. We are so proud of her accomplishments and her times are nothing but IMPRESSIVE! She finished the 10k racewalk in 1:00:26.49, competing with some of the USATF's top racewalkers!
She recently just learned the sport of racewalking this past winter season as a freshman, recovering from a major ACL tear and surgery last spring. She just keeps creating milestones for herself, we cannot wait to see where she goes, as she keeps increasing these distances in racewalking, her chances of a NYS Indoor Championship for the 1500m racewalk become within her grasp. Congratulations Maddie!
