Congratulations to WGHS Salutatorian Sam Hohle, who has earned admission to the United States Naval Academy.

This achievement is especially meaningful as we also celebrate WGCSD alum and Class of 2021 Salutatorian Bryce Kelly, who graduated from the United States Naval Academy this spring.

Admission to a federal service academy is an exceptionally selective and worthwhile process, requiring strong academics, leadership, physical readiness, and a congressional nomination.

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand’s Service Academy Information Night is a great opportunity for students and families to learn more about this path and the steps involved.

The event will be held Tuesday, June 2 at 6:00 p.m. at Elmira College.

We are proud of these WGCSD graduates and encourage interested students to explore this unique opportunity to serve and lead.
