I am sending out a quick reminder about our Community Forum that will be taking place next week. The previously shared details are below.

Also! As part of our efforts to gather community perception, our partners at the University of Rochester have created this survey as another attempt to gather as much data as we can for the Planning Council. Please take a few moments to give us your feedback. We will use this data to help us develop our strategic plan.

Updated Vision, Mission & Strategic Planning:

As a reminder, the Watkins Glen Central School District has partnered with the University of Rochester’s Warner School of Education to take part in future driven conversations. 

The next step in this process will be the actual planning work to achieve our updated vision and mission.

If you would like to have input on the strategic plan, we have the following opportunities available for you:

  1. Attend the Community Forum for perception gathering on September 18th at 6:30PM. This community forum will take place in the high school library and the high school and the home and careers classroom. All community members are invited to attend. We would love to have parents and caregivers attend to weigh in on the future of the Watkins Glen Central School District. Both locations will have a facilitator form the Warner School of Education, who will be responsible for all information gathering. Those who would like to attend can park in the High School Parking Lot on the east side of campus near the flagpole.
