Middle School Grade Level Teams

The Middle School is organized into 4 grade level teams - 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th.  The teams include five academic CORE teachers for ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, Special Education and the guidance counselor.  The teams have a common block of preparation and planning time working together to provide the best educational experience for their students: 

 

·           coordinate homework assignments and projects

·           arranging group learning environments

·           assessing individual student needs

·           evaluating and monitoring student achievement

·           meeting with students and parents to discuss student progress
